The Fast and The Furious – Headlines Racing Along

  • We focus on ESG investing, explaining our near-term reservations and the urgent need for leadership at both the regulatory and corporate levels with respect to metric standardization. There is a need to move from Alchemy to Science
  • We pour cold water on lithium (which as all high school chemists will tell you is dangerous). We discuss low producer barriers to entry in lithium and a group of large powerful consumers are strategically incentivized to ensure oversupply, however fast the market grows. Expect volatility but not sustained profits
  • Hydrogen remains very much in focus and while there are some good company statements and studies that speak to the future importance of hydrogen, few are detailing a path that gets us from today to an ideal future. We believe that blue hydrogen is a necessary medium term enabling stage.
